Shalom Mkhulu,

It is this time of the year when we come together as the body of Christ and look back and say, “Dear Heavenly Father, regardless the storms, deserts and some valleys, You have been faithful to us”. Our cross-over all-night service was held on the 31st of December 2018 at the White Church in Gundwini.

The service kicked off at 18:00 pm till 6:00 the next morning. The young people call it the “6 to 6 marathon with Jesus”. All the 17 local assembles came together with brethren from other denominations to celebrate the goodness and faithfulness of Jesus Christ to us. It was a glorious occasion. Two days before the event (29 December), we had a terrible storm (not to be confused with the tornado which struck the country recently). The rain storm prevented some people from making it to the event, but those who came were able to spend quality time with God. We were hoping for 2100 people by our estimate. We ended up having 700-800 people. You think we were saddened or disappointed about that? Of course not. We had two Evangelists who came from South Africa as our keynote speakers, plus one bible teacher. Our major focus in this year’s event (2018) was SOUL WINNING. As I was giving and sharing our aim or expectations with our speakers, I made it clear that it will be all about HARVESTING OF SOULS to the glory of God. New converts registered after the service totalled 136 people. We spent two hours with them breaking the Word down for them as if we would not have another day with them. They were being established in Christ. One phrase that stood out from others and kept coming up as we were counselling them is, “since you have now come out for Jesus Christ, you now have to REST IN CHRIST”. “Be content in Him, learn from Him and remain in Him. Be a full-time student of Jesus Christ with no intention of graduating”. Even more was given to these good people and I am confident that Christ will sustain what He has begun in them.

A gentleman who couldn’t forgive his blood-relative due to an ordeal 12 years ago: This relative stole 21 cows from him and sold them to someone in Mozambique. As if that wasn’t enough, he raped his 9-year old daughter. He is currently serving time in prison. After giving his life to Christ, it became possible to forgive and move forward with his life. As I was counselling him, I made this statement, “When” not “IF” you forgive – because forgiveness isn’t an option, but something to be done especially when you proclaim to be a Christian. When you forgive, you aren’t doing it for someone else but yourself. Secondly, when you forgive you are healed from the wounds of the past.” I am glad to report back to you that now this gentleman is RESTING IN CHRIST.

A lady who couldn’t sleep in her own house due to evil spirits is now sleeping peacefully after we went and prayed in her house.

After receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, two gentlemen who were not on good terms with their father due to a family dispute, went back home and mended their relationship with their father.

If our Gospel is hidden, it is hidden to them that are lost because the devil has blinded them from seeing the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God is at work in Eswatini (the new name of Swaziland) and Southern Africa.

God bless you all brethren, in Jesus Christ’s name, amen.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Wesley Dlamini
